A truck carrying heavy machinery caused traffic delays on the Wide Bay Highway on Tuesday afternoon after it tipped on to its side.
Emergency services were called to the incident at Kinbombi just before 3:00pm.
Initial reports suggested the driver, a man aged in his 50s, was trapped but a QFD spokesperson said no cutting gear was required.
A QAS spokesperson said the driver suffered a minor hand injury but declined transport to hospital.
At 4:45pm, police were still at the scene directing traffic, awaiting the arrival of a tow vehicle.

A tractor accidentally brought down power lines on the Burnett Highway at Glan Devon on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the incident just after 4:00pm.
Ergon Energy despatched crews to the scene to make the area safe.
Initially, there were 278 Ergon customers in the region without power.
