A motorcycle rider has died after a crash on Peachtree Access Road at Jimna on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called at 10:44am after reports a motorbike and a grader had collided head-on.
A police spokesperson said initial investigations suggested the motorbike had veered on to the wrong side of the road before the crash.
A QAS spokesperson said the rider was assessed with critical injuries.
The 66-year-old Tarragindi man died at the scene.
Police investigations are continuing.

A driver was taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition after reportedly suffering a medical episode behind the wheel on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to Kingaroy-Cooyar Road at Tarong about 11:00am.
The man’s vehicle had run off the road into a ditch.
