Wild Horse FM’s “Shoot The Breeze” interview program has won its category at the new national Australian Audio Awards competition.
The awards, organised by publisher Mumbrella in partnership with Radio Today and Radioinfo, recognise the best in Australian radio and podcasting.
The winners were announced on Thursday in Sydney.
“Shoot The Breeze” is presented by volunteers Jon Fearnley and Frank Hodgkinson.
Jon and Frank take turns at “shooting the breeze”, recording interviews with local residents.
It was a finalist in the “Best Non-Commercial Program – Small” category.
Over the past two years the pair have recorded and edited almost 70 interviews.
