A 21-year-old Kingaroy man suffered critical injuries in a motorcycle crash on the Blackbutt Range on Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to a collision between the man’s Yamaha bike and a Nissan Navara dual-cab about 11:25am.
A QAS spokesperson said the motorcycle rider suffered life-threatening arm, leg, spinal and pelvic injuries in the crash.
A rescue helicopter, which landed nearby, airlifted the man to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
The driver of the Nissan, a 62-year-old man from Moore, was assessed by paramedics at the scene but suffered no physical injuries.
The D’Aguilar Highway was blocked for several hours while emergency services were in attendance.
A police spokesperson said it was fully reopened about 2:30pm.

Three people were injured in a collision near Meringandan West just before 10:00pm Saturday.
Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Peters Road and Goombungee-Meringandan Road.
QAS paramedics assessed six patients at the scene.
A man in his 20s, with neck and chest injuries, and a teenage man with chest discomfort, were transported by ambulance to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
A man with neck pain was transported in a stable condition to St Vincent’s Private Hospital in Toowoomba.
A QAS spokesperson said the remaining three patients were not injured.
