An elderly woman was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane with multiple fractures after a serious traffic crash on Friday morning near the Kingaroy CBD.
The woman’s vehicle and a livestock truck collided near the intersection of Jarrah and Haly streets about 10:15am.
The Kia Sportage was badly damaged in the collision with the B-Double which was carrying pigs to the Swickers abattoir.
A QAS spokesperson said the woman, aged in her 80s, was the only occupant in the car.
She was taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.
No animals appeared to have been injured in the crash.

Wouldn’t it be great if there was some other way these behemoths could get to and from Swickers without having to go through the CBD. The town’s streets are not set up for this level of heavy transport.
