The South Burnett’s junior soccer competition will get under way this Saturday, with games from mini-roos through to U12/13s and Cadets at the Kingaroy junior fields.
The Kingaroy Redbacks will be hosting the first five rounds of the season.
In the Darling Downs Community Competition, both Kingaroy senior men’s teams will be in action on Sunday.
The Kingaroy Division 1 men’s team will take on Goondiwindi at Pittsworth while the Division 2 men will face Willowburn at Willowburn.
Last weekend, Division 1 played a one-all draw with Dalby at Dalby. The Kingaroy goal was scored by Lochlan Stephen.
Division 2 downed Highfields 4-2 at Highfields, with goals scored by Braxton Collin (2) and Harvey Sawtell (2).
NB. The Nanango Panthers Club will be hosting their big U6-U13 Heritage Mini Roos Carnival at the Alan Downie Sports Fields in Nanango on May 24.
