RES Group – the developers of the Tarong West Wind Farm at Ironpot – will be hosting the next Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry meet’n’greet.
The get-together for local businesspeople will be held from 5:15pm on Tuesday, May 19, at the KCCI Business Hub building at 195 Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy.
Guest speakers will include Tarong West lead project manager Toby Coates, from RES, as well as representatives from contractors MPK, Vestas Wind Systems and Consolidated Power Projects (CPP).
The contractors are looking to connect with with local businesses and suppliers to engage in the Tarong West project.
CPP are also the principal contractors for the Halys Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Ellesmere.
Cost to attend the meet’n’greet is $15 per person for KCCI members or $20 for non-members.
