Kingaroy Senior Soccer’s Division 1 men’s team overpowered ladder leaders TNUniSQ in their Anzac Day evening clash in Kingaroy last Saturday.
A minute’s silence was held prior to kick-off after a formal walk out by both teams.
Kingaroy went on to defeat TNUniSQ 4-1 with Nathan Copas scoring two goals.
Other goals were slotted home by Lochlan Stephen and Jesse Weier.
Kingaroy are now sitting at the top of the ladder on goal difference, just ahead of TNUniSQ.
This weekend, the Division 1 team will be back on the road again, taking on Dalby in Dalby on Sunday morning at 11:00am.
Kingaroy’s Division 2 men, who are currently at second spot on the ladder, will be playing Highfields at 7:00pm on Saturday night at Highfields.
