Wests Wanderers and Kingaroy’s Division 1 men’s soccer team played a tense 1-all draw on Saturday night at Tom Alford Oval in Kingaroy.
Wests were ahead 1-0 at the break before Dekota Hetherington scored a goal late in the second half to even the score.
Meanwhile, Kingaroy’s Division 2 team downed UniSQFC’s Div 2 in Toowoomba on Sunday with a decisive 4-0 victory.
Goal scorers were Oliver Schultz, Jesse Weier and Harvey Sawtell (plus an own goal!).
This Saturday, the Division 1 men will be back in action at home, taking on UniSQFC at 5:00pm.
Division 2 will be enjoying a much-deserved break.
