A new exhibition of artworks at Murgon’s 55MYA Museum & Gallery was officially unveiled at the complex’s latest “elegant afternoon tea” last Saturday.

The afternoon teas are held about every six weeks, coinciding with a change in displays at the gallery.

Volunteers encourage visitors to dress up for the occasion.

The afternoon treats, served on fine china, are accompanied by glasses of wine.

All the artworks which line the walls are available for sale, including many by local artists.

The art gallery fills one section of the 55MYA complex, which also features the fossil museum and digital displays.
