The recently renamed Sportsbet Nanango Race Club will be holding its annual Nanango Cup Race Meeting at the Lee Park Racecourse on Saturday.

This is the first race meeting held in the South Burnett for the new racing year, and features a bumper card of seven races.

All other features – such as the bar, barbecue and race club canteen – will operate as usual, and undercover seating will be available as well as lawn seating.

Fashions Of The Field has an “open” theme, so it’s time for fashionistas to get creative!

The meeting’s feature race is Race 7 – the $16,000 Nanango Cup – run over 1600m.

Buses will be leaving Glendon Street in Kingaroy at noon and the Scott Car Park at 12:30pm.

Gates will open at noon and Race 1 will leave the barriers at 12:55pm.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under 15s are free). Everyone is welcome! NB. There’s no ATM on the course.
