The Yarraman Progress Association’s annual show’n’shine was back at Errol Munt Sports Reserve this year, attracting a field full of classic cars and hot rods.

The line-up on Saturday included the usual range of very desirable Aussie Fords and Holdens as well as American muscle – and a few unusual entries, including a highly customised Morris Commercial truck.

Wild Horse FM  broadcast music across the grounds which added to the atmosphere as visitors browsed the displays.

In the canteen, volunteers from the local Driver Reviver stop were kept busy, serving up sausages on bread.

There were also quite a few motorbikes on display, courtesy of visitors from the Patriots Australia military motorbike club which held its annual Steel Horse Rally and show’n’shine “after party” into the night at the nearby Yarraman Showgrounds as a fundraiser for Wounded Heroes.

Wounded Heroes supports former and current members of the Australian Defence Force and their families.
