A man aged in his 70s suffered minor burns in a large shed fire at Oakview, near Kilkivan, on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Oakview Road about 2:10pm.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesperson said “multiple” fire crews were called to the large blaze.
The 50m x 30m shed was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived, and the roof had collapsed.
At 4:30pm, there were still six crews on scene.
A QAS spokesperson said the man suffered burns to his hands, legs and forehead.
He was transported by ambulance to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition.
