Kingaroy Chiropractic & Wellness has opened new practices in Nanango and Murgon.

This was the major news at the Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s May meet’n’greet held last Tuesday night in Kingaroy.

Kingaroy Chiropractic’s Scott Young said “Be Well Chiropractic” practices were now open at 54 Gore Street, Murgon, and 30 Fitzroy Street, Nanango.

Scott and his staff members explained the range of services on offer, including chiropractic, remedial massage therapy and physiotherapy.

New equipment to improve diagnoses had also been installed at the Kingaroy clinic.

Other guest speakers included former Chief Baconeer Kathryn Stevens, who has returned to help out at BaconFest again this year.

She said the 2025 event would have a slightly new format, shifting from the Kingaroy CBD to Memorial Park to allow a larger crowd to enjoy the special guest artist who would be on stage, Troy Casser-Daley.

The festival would also be simplified to just a function on Friday night followed by all-day events on Saturday.

However, it would still feature cooking demonstrations, children’s activities, a bacon-eating competition, the SunPork Smoke-Off BBQ competition and a big range of food trucks.

BaconFest will run on August 15-16.

The KCCI would again organise a decorated window competition in the Kingaroy CBD conjunction with the festival.

Kate Wharton, the regional development and engagement manager for NBN Local, encouraged the businesspeople present to check their locations to see if their homes or business sites could be upgraded to Fibre To The Premises technology which had been rolled out across Kingaroy.

This can be done on the NBNco website
