Two people died on Wednesday afternoon after their Mitsubishi Pajero ran off Chinchilla-Wondai Road, hit a tree and rolled several times.

Emergency services were called to the incident about 4:10pm at Chances Plain, 5km north of Chinchilla.

Firefighters used hydraulic equipment to cut free two people from the wreckage.

A police spokesperson said the driver, a 30-year-old Elimbah woman, died at the scene.

Two other occupants, a seven-year-old boy and nine-year-old girl, were airlifted to Chinchilla Hospital with serious injuries, however the boy – who suffered critical injuries – died a short time later.

The girl suffered chest and abdominal injuries and was transported in a serious but stable condition to Chinchilla Hospital

The road was closed to traffic while emergency services were at the scene.

An elderly man was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition after falling off a pushbike on Brooklands-Pimpimbudgee Road at Brooklands on Wednesday afternoon.

A teenage girl was taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital after her vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree at Taabinga on Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Kingaroy-Cooyar Road about 12:50pm.

A QAS spokesperson said the girl was transported in a stable condition.

A man aged in his 30s was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition with chest pain after two vehicles collided on Tuesday in Emmert Street, Yarraman.

Emergency services were called about 2:30pm.
