The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal head-on crash on the New England Highway on Tuesday.
About 12:05pm, a Holden Astra and a Volkswagen Amarok collided between Drayton Connection Road and Erbacher Road at Cambooya.
The driver and sole occupant of the Holden, a 26-year-old Warwick man, died at the scene.
The driver of the Volkswagen, a 73-year-old Nobby man, and a passenger, a 70-year-old Nobby woman, were transported by ambulance to Toowoomba Hospital for assessment.
A police spokesperson said the Holden Astra was stolen from Pittsworth on Saturday.
Investigations are continuing.
