South Burnett CTC’s Partners In Foster Care hosted this month’s Wondai Business and Development Association’s (WBDA) meet’n’greet on Tuesday evening.

Members heard updates from local businesses and organisations, including CRAICCHS, which has temporarily expanded its existing health care service in Wondai due to the flood damage at its Kingaroy offices; and the Salus Group which offers telehealth services, first aid training and other services across the South Burnett from its base in Wondai.

Guest speakers also included BIEDO general manager Mistrel Badesso and Darren Buckley, from Wondai Neighbourhood Watch.

The WBDA meets on the second Tuesday of every month.

The group, which is keen for new members to join, usually holds their get-togethers at 6:30am, however they are now planning to hold evening meetings every two to three months.

The WBDA’s next meeting will be at 6:30am on April 2 at the Wondai Colonial Motel.

The next Wondai Neighbourhood Watch meeting will be held from 4:00pm on April 6 at the Wondai Diggers Club.
