A house was destroyed by fire – and a woman was taken to hospital with minor burns – at Ballogie on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the blaze on Underwoods Road just before 12:15pm.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesperson said the single-storey house was fully engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived.
Fortunately, all occupants were already safely outside the building.
QAS paramedics assessed a man and a woman at the scene.
A spokesperson said the woman was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition with minor burns to her hands and limbs.
The man was not injured.
The fire was extinguished by 3:15pm but not before the roof had collapsed.
At 3:30pm, firefighters were still at the scene, dampening down the remains of the structure.
Six fire crews – a mix of rural and urban units – attended the incident.
