Nanango Scorpions defeated Tingoora Mercenaries by six wickets at their South Burnett senior cricket competition match played at Nanango last Saturday.
Mercenaries won the toss and elected to bat but were all out for 83 runs in the 35th over.
Opener David Hartwig and Jon Sharpe were the top scorers with 16 runs apiece.
Scorpions’ bowler Josephine Black was deadly, taking 5/12 off her six overs.
In reply, Nanango over took the target in the 17th over for the loss of four wickets (4/84).
Top scorers were Joe Carney and Nick Scherger who both hit 18 runs.
Jon Sharpe finished with 1/12 off two overs, while Hayden McCrea (1/15) would have been happy getting opener Jayden Prendergast out LBW for a duck.

Wooroolin won the toss and elected to bowl.
At the end of their 40 overs, Wolves were 7/223 with Nathan Nixon top-scoring with 68 runs.
Matt Nesbitt took 2/36 off seven overs for Warriors.
In reply, Wooroolin were all out for 170 after 36 overs.
Hunter Brown was the top-scorer with 40 runs.
Ryan Kelly took 5/18 off five overs.

Troy Miller took 3/21 off four overs for Huntsmen.
In reply, Tingoora were all out for 112 in the 31st over.
Jason Reilly (16) and Tro Miller (15) were the top-scorers.
