South Burnett Regional Council has released three videos to help promote the region as a career option – and lifestyle choice – for medical professionals.
The videos were produced by local business, Torkit Business Solutions.
The videos (see below) aim to promote the beautiful South Burnett and its country lifestyle to potential medical professionals looking at launching their careers in the region.
They emphasise that the South Burnett is the perfect place to enjoy a balanced lifestyle, avoid the hustle and bustle of the city and to thrive professionally in a close-knit community.
“With shortages in regional and rural areas, we need to attract not only doctors but all medical professionals,” Mayor Kathy Duff said.
“We warmly welcome health professionals to become part of our community where they can enjoy the country lifestyle and natural beauty of our region.”
Council thanked everyone involved in the production, including Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN, Darling Downs Health, Lady Bjelke-Petersen Community Hospital and the many GPs who were happy to share their experiences of working in the South Burnett.
