Tingoora has three teams in this year’s South Burnett Senior Cricket competition but one of them is the real standout.

After four rounds, Tingoora Vikings are sitting undefeated at the top of the table.

Vikings (0/55) demonstrated their dominance again last Saturday by downing Kingaroy Services by 10 wickets at Wondai Cricket Ground.

Kingaroy Services won the toss and elected to bat but were all out for 54 in the 35th over.

Isaac Bice was the top-scorer with 16 runs, but no one else made it into double figures.

Five Vikings’ bowlers shared the honours but Tavis Hartwig finished with the best figures, 4/13 off eight overs.

In reply, Vikings’ openers Brett Simpson (33 not out) and Ryan Jacobs (18 not out) quickly overtook the target in just three overs.
