A woman aged in her 60s had to be cut free from her vehicle after it rolled on the D’Aguilar Highway on Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the incident at South Burnett about 4:45pm.

A QAS spokesperson said the woman had been “encapsulated” within the wreckage and had to be cut free by fire crews.

At 5:30pm, paramedics were preparing to transport her to hospital but the extent of her injuries were unknown.

Traffic on the highway was reduced to one lane while emergency crews were at the scene.

At 1:10am on Wednesday, emergency services were called to a single-vehicle crash on the Burnett Highway at Tansey.

Paramedics assisted the driver, who had minor cuts and bruises, but he declined transport to hospital.
