A 14-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital on Saturday afternoon after an all-terrain vehicle rolled on a private property in the South Burnett.

A LifeFlight spokesperson said it was believed the teenager was driving the ATV when he lost control of the vehicle.

QAS paramedics treated the patient at the property before taking him by ambulance to a waiting LifeFlight helicopter which had landed at a nearby oval.

The boy suffered a broken arm and suspected head and pelvic injuries and was airlifted to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane in a stable condition.
