Police searching for missing 27-year-old Jack McLennan have again called for a person who was camping in the Ficks Crossing area to come forward.

It is believed this person was travelling in a dark-coloured vehicle with a roof-top tent.

Jack was last seen between 8:00pm and 10:00pm on Friday, October 4 and has not been seen or heard from since.

Police also urged residents – especially west of Murgon –  to check their properties, including any outbuildings and sheds, for any signs of Jack.

A spokesperson said police divers, police dogs, SES volunteers and other specialised teams were continuing to search the area.

So far, a hat and pair of shoes, believed to be owned by Jack, have been found near Ficks Crossing and Macalister and McLucas streets, Murgon.

Jack is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 185cm tall with light brown hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and dark shorts.

Anyone with information about Jack’s whereabouts should immediately contact PoliceLink on 131-444.
