The Murgon Business and Development Association (MBDA) has opened a new office in the heart of Murgon.
The business association has been negotiating with the South Burnett Regional Council for some time about accessing a space within the existing Visitor Information Centre in Lamb Street.
The MBDA space will be manned on a casual basis but will also serve as a “drop off” point for stories for the group’s monthly publication, “Murgon Moments”.
The Visitor Information Centre is open from 9:00am-2:00pm on Monday to Friday.
“Don’t worry, nothing has changed with the Information Centre,” MBDA treasurer Lorraine Goodchild said.
“We’ve just pinched a bit of their space. We will be able to work well together as we continue to serve our local community and visitors to town.
“Come in and see us about the benefits of MBDA membership, the ‘Why Leave Town’ Murgon Gift Card program for your business, or about advertising in the Murgon Moments.”
