A ram raid at the IGA Supermarket in Wondai on Monday night has been linked by police to a carjacking earlier in the day at Wilsonton in Toowoomba.
Police are investigating the Wondai incident which occurred just after midnight.
A spokesperson said initial information indicated a group of people rammed the front of the business in a white car.
They then entered the building a stole a cash register.
A 16-year-old Rockville boy has been arrested and charged over both incidents, as well as offences allegedly committed in Highfields, Hodgleigh and Wooroolin.
A house was allegedly broken into at Hodgleigh and a vehicle stolen; at Wooroolin, the café was allegedly broken into.
He has been charged with robbery, two counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle, two counts of enter dwelling and commit, stealing and four counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence.
He was remanded in custody and was scheduled to appear in Toowoomba Children’s Court on Wednesday.
UPDATE August 23: A second teenage boy has been charged in relation to the incidents.
