BIEDO has organised four speakers for a special nurture day for South Burnett women at Wondai Town Hall next week.

The “South Burnett Visionary Women Nurture You Day” will run from 9:00am to 3:00pm on Friday, May 10 (registrations from 8:30am).

Guests speakers will be:

  • Heather Ellis, from BlueWren Connections, whose talk is entitled “Enter The Zone Of Fabulousness”.  Heather is well-known for her work with the annual Red Earth Community Leadership Program
  • Katie Zerner and her husband Andrew are regenerative farmers based in Murgon. Katie will discuss “Knowledge To Practice – Visions and Goals”
  • Marcia Hunt is with Queensland Health’s Mobile Women’s Health Service and has dedicated most of her nursing career to rural women’s health
  • Felicity Dascombe is a well-known local businesswoman whose family-owned business has grown under her leadership from a modest fleet of six buses to an impressive collection of 51 buses, coaches, two water trucks and two travel agencies

Cost for the day is $25 per person which includes morning tea, lunch and a “goodie bag”.

BIEDO is hosting the event with funding from the State Government.
