Kingaroy Show Society is looking for entrants in its Showgirl and Rural Ambassador competitions.

The Kingaroy Showgirl category is open to women aged from 18-28 (as at August 1).

The Rural Ambassador category is open to both men and women, aged from 20 to less than 30 (as at May 1).

The winners of these categories will compete in the South Burnett Sub-Chamber competition for the opportunity to represent the region at the Ekka and take out the Queensland titles.

There will also be junior competitions: Junior Showgirl (girls aged 12-17) and Junior Rural Ambassador (girls or boys aged 12-17).

Entries must be submitted before 5:00pm on April 26.

The 116th Kingaroy Show will be held at the Kingaroy Showgrounds on May 4-5.
