Murgon police are hunting intruders who bashed a man unconscious during a robbery at a home in Garrick Street last month.

A police spokesperson said the incident occurred about 7:15pm on Friday, March 22.

“Police will allege that a number of unknown offenders entered a Garrick Street, Murgon, address and assaulted a man, causing him to fall unconscious,” the spokesperson said.

“It is alleged that the offenders gained entry to the dwelling and conducted an untidy search of the residence, fleeing the scene shortly after.”

A man in his 50s was transported to Kingaroy Hospital after suffering a reported snake bite to his leg.

QAS paramedics were called to the private residence in Nanango about midnight on Monday.
