A vehicle on fire in a backyard of a house in Bell Street, Cherbourg, sparked an alarm on Easter Sunday night.

Three fire crews and QAS paramedics were called out about 9:50pm after initial reports a house was on fire.

However, they found a car on fire, which was quickly extinguished.

No one was injured.

A quad bike rider was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital on Sunday morning after a quadbike crash at Blackbutt South.

A QAS spokesperson said the rider suffered significant leg injuries.

Emergency crews were called about 9:40am.

A rescue helicopter managed to land near the incident.

The rider was airlifted in a stable condition.

A man aged in his 40s was taken to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition after a fall from an e-scooter on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail on Saturday night.

Paramedics were called to the incident, near Wanora, about 8:40pm.

The man suffered shoulder and chest injuries.
