The third annual Youth Services Expo attracted a host of service providers – and students – to the Barambah Youth Services Hub in Murgon last Friday.

Hub manager Gaye O’Sullivan said there was a variety of events and activities for young people to enjoy.

“It is an opportunity for young people to explore services and meet the service providers that can support them through the Youth Hub,” Gaye said.

“This includes services such as counsellors, psychologists, and employment support services, to name a few.

“Young people become more familiar with the people that can support them, if they ever have a concern or worry.”

There were 15 service providers in attendance as well as Cherbourg Radio UsMob which provided a live broadcast.

The Clontarf Foundation and Gundoo Early Childhood Learning Centre also supported the event.

Gaye said the Barambah Youth Services Hub offers a range of services to support the health and wellbeing of students and young people aged 6-24.

Anyone who would like to know more about a service, or arrange a confidential appointment, should contact the Hub on (07) 4172-9728 or by email
