A man aged in his 50s was airlifted to hospital after a single-vehicle crash near Kilkivan on Saturday night.

Emergency services were called to the incident, on Black Snake Road, at 7:03pm.

The man’s Toyota LandCruiser ute had left the road and smashed into a tree.

Fire crews had to remove a door from the vehicle to help extract the injured man from the ute.

A QAS spokesperson said the man was flown by rescue helicopter in a serious condition to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with chest and arm injuries.

A set of traffic lights has came out worst in a single-vehicle traffic crash on the corner of Youngman and Alford streets in Kingaroy on Saturday.

A 4WD hit the traffic lights in the centre island in the early hours of the morning.

Emergency services were called about 2:30am.

A patient was transported by ambulance to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition after a reported snake bite at a private residence in Pie Creek on Saturday morning.

One stable patient was transported by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital with a shoulder injury after falling from a bike in Coulson Street, Blackbutt, on Saturday.

QAS was called to the incident at 10:24am.

A male patient was transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition after a single vehicle rollover on the D’Aguilar highway at Yarraman on Sunday night.

Emergency services were despatched at 07:51pm.
