Murgon police are investigating an incident that has left a police vehicle with a smashed window.

About 10:50pm on Tuesday, the marked police vehicle was travelling along Barber Street, Cherbourg, near an area known locally as “The Gully”.

An unknown person threw a brick which smashed the rear passenger window.

A police spokesperson said that if brick had gone through the front window, the risk of injury to the officers would have been extreme.

A person was transported by ambulance to Nanango Hospital after a two vehicles collided in Nanango on Friday morning.

Emergency services were called to the crash on the corner of Kimlin Street and Kingaroy Road at 9:16am.
