Former South Burnett artist Olivia Everitt – now based in Gympie – is holding two more grant-writing workshops for artists in the local region.

The free workshops have been funded by the Federal Government’s Regional Arts Fund, administered in Queensland through the Flying Arts Alliance.

They will be held at Yarraman Memorial Hall on March 6 (noon to 3:00pm) and Wondai Regional Art Gallery on March 15 (11:00am-2:00pm).

“I have over 12 years’ experience in preparing grant applications for artists, organisations, festivals and projects in the arts and cultural sector, so this is an opportunity to share tried and tested methods to attract grant funding with participants,” Olivia said.

“Having lived and worked in the Wide Bay Burnett region since 2017, I’m passionate about seeing increased investment in our local creative talent.”

Registrations to attend the free workshops can be made online (click on the date in the calendar) or by phoning Olivia on 0432-556-830.

The workshops will follow a similar format to grant writing workshops Olivia ran in Goomeri, Kingaroy, Murgon and Gympie in 2023.
