Two people were taken to Kingaroy Hospital after two vehicles collided on Sunday night.

Emergency services were called just before 8:30pm to the incident on the corner of Edward and John streets in Kingaroy.

A QAS spokesperson said both patients were in a stable condition.

Two people have been treated for snakebites in the local region over the past few days.

At 9:49am on Monday, a snakebite was reported in Thomas Street, Woolooga.

QAS paramedics transported one patient in a stable condition to Gympie Hospital.

A patient was taken to Kingaroy Hospital after a suspected snake bite at Wooroonden on Saturday.

QAS paramedics were called to the private address at 9:34am.

A man aged in his 60s was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital last week after reportedly falling from a verandah at a private house.

Emergency services were called to the residence just after 10:30am on Friday.

The man was airlifted by helicopter in a serious condition with head and spinal injuries.
