A teenage boy was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash on Tarong-Yarraman Road at Neumgna on Friday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to incident just before 4:00pm.

The vehicle had skidded off the gravel road and crashed into a tree.

The driver was trapped inside the wrecked vehicle for about an hour before firefighters could cut him free.

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight helicopter was called to the scene and landed in a paddock about 500 metres away.

Police drove the medical team to the crash site.

The aeromedical team worked alongside QAS paramedics to treat the teenager.

A QAS spokesperson said the boy suffered significant leg injuries as well as pelvic injuries.

He was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

His mother accompanied him in the rescue helicopter.

Emergency services were called about 6:00pm after a vehicle pulling a trailer rolled on Chinchilla-Wondai Road near Cushnie on Sunday.

A QAS spokesperson said paramedics assessed the occupants but no transport was required.
