A man aged in his 50s suffered burns after trying to contain a bushfire at Old Cooranga on Saturday.

The man is believed to have been using a grader to help clear a fire break on a neighbour’s property when the fire came too close.

He suffered burns to his upper body and face.

The man was transported by ambulance to Mundubbera Hospital and then airlifted by RACQ LifeFlight to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.

A LifeFlight spokesperson said the man was transported in a stable condition.

A person was transported by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition with a head injury on Monday morning after reportedly being kicked by a horse.

Emergency services were called to East Nanango at 8:52am.

A man was transported by ambulance to Murgon Hospital after a crash at Cloyna on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services were called to the rollover on Cloyna West Road at 4:24am.
