Norco AgriSolutions in Kingaroy hosted a free barbecue on Thursday to mark the launch of a new partnership which will see the store stocking DeWalt, Stanley and Sidchrome tools.

A team from DeWalt had a display of a large range of cordless power tools, spanners – and even a cordless lawn mower –  on hand for customers to take a closer look.

The Kingaroy Norco store, in River Road, is one of just seven which have been chosen to stock the expanded range of items.

The DeWalt team have been on a road tour to demonstrate the American brand tools, and came to Kingaroy after a successful launch in Gayndah.

Warren Anderson, from DeWalt, said Norco’s range had been carefully selected to appeal to farmers.

He said the battery technology incorporated in the units was leading the industry.

Sidchrome spanners and sockets need no introduction, and neither do Stanley hand tools.

Kingaroy store manager Shaun Walters said home handymen would also be interested in the in-store displays.
