Murgon residents in the Coronation Drive area have been asked by police to review any CCTV footage after an incident on Friday morning.

About 12:30am, thieves broke into a house in Coronation Drive via a pet door, stealing a wallet and vehicle keys.

They then used the keys to steal a car but as they were trying to drive away from the property, they crashed into a gate.

A police spokesperson said the offenders then abandoned the vehicle and ran away.

A 48-year-old Murgon woman has been charged with high-range drink driving after she was stopped by police in Lamb Street, Murgon, on Wednesday evening.

Police pulled over the woman’s vehicle at 5:25pm after receiving complaints from members of the public in relation to her driving.

It will be alleged that she blew 0.197 BAC when tested, nearly four times the legal limit.

She is due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on October 24.

A 33-year-old Proston woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on December 12, charged with drug driving.

Police stopped her vehicle on Okeden Road at Proston at 9:22am on October 11.

Police are investigating a report of wilful damage to a club building in Macalister Street in Murgon.

The damage, to a power box, occurred at some time before 9:00am on October 11.

A teenage boy suffered minor injuries when his vehicle hit a kangaroo on the Mundubbera-Durong Road on Sunday night.

Paramedics were called to the incident at Brovinia at 11:21pm.

The teenager was transported by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.
