Yarraman residents had a double day of activities to enjoy at Errol Munt Park on Saturday, with emergency services displays in the morning followed by the Colours Of Yarraman Fun Day in the afternoon.

There was lots of information available from the QAS and Yarraman Local Ambulance Committee, including CPR demonstrations.

The QFES, SES and local rural fire brigades also had vehicles on display and information stalls.

Other Yarraman-based groups and businesses also had stalls, including Yarraman Cares and Wild Horse FM.

Recently appointed Toowoomba Mayor Geoff McDonald and Cr Kerry Shine took the opportunity to chat to local volunteers and residents.

The free fun day included the announcement of the prize winners in the annual Colours Of Yarraman junior and senior competitions (see below).

There were also food stalls, live music and children’s rides.

The activities were organised by the Yarraman Progress Association.
