A 38-year-old Nudgee man has been charged with a assaulting and obstructing police after an alleged incident at Murgon Watchhouse.

It will be alleged the man, who was being held in custody on another matter, was being helped into an ambulance when he became aggressive.

He allegedly spat on a police officer and then  kicked out, striking another officer in the side of the head.

The man is due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on November 28.

Police are investigating an assault and wilful damage incident which occurred in Marshall Street, Cherbourg, on October 4.

A woman reported to police that she had been driving down Marshall Street about 8:40pm when a rock was thrown at her vehicle.

She stopped the car and the suspect then allegedly threw a glass bottle at her, striking her on the forehead.

Police have appealed for any witnesses or anyone with CCTV footage to contact police.

A 24-year-old man from Little Mountain is scheduled to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on October 24 charged with trespass after rolling a vehicle at Okeden on September 29.

It will be alleged the man drove into a property on Okeden Road, began driving recklessly and caused the vehicle to roll. He then allegedly fled the scene.

Police are investigating an attempted burglary which occurred in Kent Street, Wondai, last Tuesday (October 3).

About 3:35am, offenders were seen on CCTV cameras walking around the property, attempting to gain entry to a shed and removing fly screens from a window.

They fled when they were disturbed by a resident.
