Prize money for the 2024 Kings Royal has risen from $10,000 to $15,000 for the overall winner!
The three-day event for Modified Sedans, which will be raced at the Kingaroy Speedway in January, will boast total prize money of more than $55,000, the South Burnett Speedway Club announced this week.
The prize breakdown for the final race will total $36,450 with cash prizes for all 24 starters.
Prize money starts at $350 for 24th and rises to $15,000 for first, $5000 for second and $3000 for third.
Competitors that don’t make the final cut will each receive $300, and any competitor who travels to Kingaroy from past Rockhampton to the north, or Grafton to the south, will receive another $100.
The 12th annual Kings Royal, the 6th annual Queens Royal and the 3rd annual Production Sedan Stampede will be held from January 25-27.

The opening meeting of the 2023-24 Kingaroy Speedway season will be raced on October 24.
This meeting will feature the running of the 2023-24 Queensland Title for Modifieds.
There will also be Pro Allstars, Production Sedans, Street Stocks, Junior Sedans and National 4s.
