Kingaroy Redbacks supporters had mixed emotions after the Football South Burnett junior soccer grand finals at Nanango on Saturday morning.
In the U12/13s, Kingaroy Mad Painters defeated the Minor Premiers, Barambah Bears, 2-1.
The Bears had gone through the season undefeated but were hit by injury late in the competition.
However, in Cadets, Dalby Diagnostic Phoenix defeated Kingaroy Blacks Electrical 4-3 in extra time.
This weekend, the Grand Finals of the Senior Competition will be played on Sunday at Tom Alford Oval.
Nanango will play Kingaroy Wests in the Women’s Grand Final from 3:00pm.
Kingaroy Islanders will play Kingaroy Easts in the Men’s Grand Final from 5:00pm.
