A police officer was allegedly kicked in the face while trying to arrest a 34-year-old Cherbourg man.
Police will allege that on August 29, the man kicked the officer while being placed in a police vehicle while being arrested in relation to a different matter.
The man has been charged with serious assault of police.
He is due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on September 19.

Police are investigating a break-and-enter at a vacant address in Lamb Street, Murgon on September 1.
A cleaner arrived at the property about 8:15am and disturbed a person graffitiing the walls inside, who fled on foot.

A 38-year-old Wondai woman has been charged with drug possession.
On August 30, police executed a search warrant at an address on Haly Street in Wondai where it is alleged they located oxycodone.
The woman will appear in the Murgon Magistrates Court on September 19.

A 60-year-old Wondai man has been charged with drug-driving and driving an unregistered motor vehicle after police stopped a vehicle on Friday.
The vehicle was pulled over on Wondai-Proston Road.
The driver is set to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on October 24.
