A small garden shed in Nanango was gutted by a fire which broke out in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A QFES spokesperson said two fire crews attended the blaze, in Cairns Street, at 12:50am.

The 3m x 3m shed was engulfed in flames when the firefighters arrived.

They were able to contain the fire to the shed and had it extinguished by 1:25am.

No one appeared to be at home at the time.

A man aged in his 20s suffered a leg injury in a motorcycle crash at Inverlaw on Saturday evening.

QAS attended the incident, on Magees Road, at 8:28pm.

A QAS spokesperson said the rider was taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.

Fifteen fire crews – 12 rural and three urban – were called to a large grass fire which broke out in the Wattle Camp area on Sunday afternoon.

The emergency call went out at 12:20pm.

A QFES spokesperson said firefighters had the fire out by 2:50pm, but some crews remained on site until 5:20pm.

Firefighters returned to the scene on Monday morning to monitor the area.
