A mechanical fault has been blamed for a fire which destroyed a ute on Curtis Road in Kingaroy on Saturday night.
Two fire crews were called to the incident about 7:30pm.
A QFES spokesperson said the vehicle was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, and nearby grass was on fire.
The fire was contained by 7:45pm and fully extinguished by 8:00pm.
A police spokesperson said there were no suspicious circumstances.
