Nanango Theatre Company is playing for laughs again with three light-hearted productions about to hit the stage on Friday.

The trio of one-act plays has been dubbed “Firsts, Lasts and a Bowler Hat” by the enthusiastic group of local performers.

“Birthday Surprise” has been written by the Nanango Theatre Company’s Annette McKeith and is being directed by Jon Fearnley.

This is a totally South Burnett play which will be making its world premiere on Friday night!

“Last Tango In Little Grimley” is a longer play packed with laughs.

Jenny Morgan is making her debut as a director with this production.

“The Man In The Bowler Hat”  is another quirky one act play which is being directed by Anne Davoren.

The cast and crew of the three plays have been working hard in rehearsals to serve up another smorgasbord of theatre for local residents.

“Firsts, Lasts and a Bowler Hat” debuts this Friday (July 28), with a 7:00pm performance at the Nanango Theatre Company’s playhouse on the corner of Elk and George Streets, Nanango.

This will be followed by a 2:00pm matinee and 7:00pm evening performance on Saturday.

The performance times will be duplicated next Friday and Saturday (August 4-5).
