The Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew has airlifted two dirt bike riders to hospital from the South Burnett in three days.

On Friday afternoon, a buck’s party ended early for the groom, who suffered pelvis and back injuries when he came off a motorcycle at an off-road park.

The helicopter pilot landed the aircraft close to the incident and the man, aged in his 20s, was airlifted in a stable condition.

On Sunday afternoon, a rider aged in his 60s, suffered an ankle injury after coming off his bike during a group ride with friends in bushland.

The rescue chopper was called about 2:00pm.

The injured rider was transported by ambulance to a clearing where the helicopter had landed.
