July 5, 2023

The popular South Burnett Careers Market will be on again at Kingaroy TAFE on July 20.

Employers and training providers will be on hand to discuss careers and training pathways from 8:30am to 3:00pm.

High school students will be visiting but the market is also open to all members of the community.

Attendees can discuss job prospects with employers and discuss courses with training organisation representatives.

TAFE spokesperson Kylie Lee said everyone in the community was invited to attend the free event, whether they were looking for work, changing careers or considering gaining new skills.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity to join us on campus and discover the career and training possibilities available in the South Burnett,” Mrs Lee said.

“You’ll have the opportunity to view TAFE Queensland’s Kingaroy campus facilities and trade workshops, chat with our experienced trainers and get involved in hands-on career activities.”

There will also be information available about “Fee-Free TAFE” with industry-recognised courses in high-priority areas including business, commercial cookery, early childhood education and care, construction and engineering available.
