Murgon cricketer Courtney Sippel flew out of Australia at the weekend, heading for England and her role in the Australia A team.
This is Sippel’s first overseas tour as a professional cricketer.
The Australia A squad will play three T20s and three 50-over fixtures during the England tour which will run alongside the Ashes campaign by the Australian Women’s team.
As well, the Australia A players will also play a three-day warm-up game this week against the main England squad at Derby, beginning on Thursday.
The Australian team will play a practice match against England A at Leicester.
